I bought a PG 1200.1 from my buddy he had 3 15s hooked up with just one PG 1200.1 and he was push about 1510.2 watts when tested with just one Pg and a 4 chanel amp. My buddy told me i could use just the PG 1200.1 to push 4 12 inch hifonics brutuss.

Each one is 1200 Wats MAXX 600 W RMS. should i buy 1 more PGs to push the subs the right way or just use one?

First things first! welcome to the forums! please give the noob posting guide a quick read!

NOW you say your buddy told you to push 1200rms on 4-12inch subs? yes you can do this but what subs and what coil config!

you need to give us information befoer we can help!

also any sub with any power output will be able to push ANY subs! it isn't like well there isn't enough power so the setup isn't going to work lol!! it might not be much of an output but it will work lol! and of course this all depend on the sub(s). like if you get 4 12'inch subs which want 300rms each, then 300rms x 4=1200rms required!

You can use just one amp on all four of those. If they are dual 2ohms then you can wire all of them together for a 1ohm load.

I had one of those amps on four twelves too. Is that the Tantrum? If so, that is a nice amp.
