I wish I had heard about eclipse before.. got my 8053 deck installed today... not running it balanced yet.. waiting for the summer to do that.. This deck is sweet.. Never heard a deck so clear before.... my subs clip at high volume now but that another storey.... I'll just turn the gain down :P

I've only had about 1 hour in the car listening to it but I'm very impressed and very happy with it..

 you mean u've neva heard speakers that clear b4, unless the deck talks to you it doesn't reproduce anytype of sound, and yea u need to match ur gain wt ur deck..

i've read that you turn ur volume up all the way and just have the subs play, then turn the gain up accordingly until you hear clipping then turn the gain down a lil, bit and be done with it.

We just became an Authorized Eclipse dealer last month abd the stuff has gone quite well. We've sold a couple of the decks that you're referring to and that deck is absolutely incredible.

congrats on your HU, I have only run Eclipse for the last 7 years, and now you can see why

I really like the 8053 thats a good choice imo... I am interested in getting one myself but really should finish my install first ;)
