I'm very keen on buying the Rl-P from soundsplinter, i've heard all good thing about them, absolutely nothing bad.

Recently my cousin purchase an idmax woofer, 12 inch one, it sounded awesome, the best sounding woofer i've ever heard.

question is, how are the Rl-p compare to this IDmax woofer?? Are they comparable in SQ term?? Price wise, SS is defintely more attractive. So anyone with experience with those two drivers please feel free to post your comment. Thanks in advance.

i think both sound excellent, in the proper enclosure. they both have the ability to get impressively loud, though IMO, the rl-p sounds better while doing this.

but all things being equal, for the price, there just isn't much out there that can hang with the rl-p. and u throw in the excellent customer service of mike, and the rl-p is a definite winner.

I definetly going to buy it, but damn shipping to australia cost an arm and leg. Was planning to buy one 12 and one 15, but the shipping put me off. So i might just buy one driver.

For SQ (sometimes loud too), which size should i get?? Does bigger size cone affect the 'agility' of the woofer to reproduce sounds??

I currently have two 15 Orion 2ntense in 4 cuft with Soundstream Rubicon 1002, great combination those two, have had them for 6 years, wanna try sth different.

Appreciate the input guys.

the size of the cone is not going to affect the quality of the sound, the 15 has the ability to get a little louder due to greater cone suface

great choice on the RL-p
