Posted December 1, 200915 yr Ok what's the deal with separate chambers for running more than one sub? How crucial is it really? I really want to end up with 2 15's in my Toyota Yaris sedan. Biggest box I can get in there is 32w x 16h x 26d (outside dim.). If the subs are exactly the same and amps are gain matched it shouldn't be that bad right? I know it's not ideal, but I really want the 2 15's.
December 1, 200915 yr Author One con that I just thought of is cubic feet. Maybe not enough for 2 15's?
December 1, 200915 yr I don't think you have enough for ported. 6.25 cubes before any displacements, and the subs will take up the .25 and the port likely at least .5 if you use aeros, probably up to 2 with a slot port.Oh and there's no problem with running them in the same chamber. I always have.
December 1, 200915 yr Too small by a significant margin for the BL 15's, going to have to rethink that. They won't sound good at all that cramped.Same chamber is fine.
