OK, so im trying to put new 6.5's in my moms car for christmas. and her stock speakers (blown) had 2 sets of wires coming to them, they were 2 negative and 2 positive. to each speaker. and the speakers i bought have only 1 set.(1 positive and 1 negavitve). so how do i hook it up. just put both positive to the 1 on the spaker? or only use 1 set of wires?

Did the original speakers have terminals for all the wires?

Oh, and do the two negative wires ever become one and same question for the positives?

Are you replacing OEM speakers or aftermarket? What kind of vehicle?

realized they were monsoon speakers, and had built in tweeters. so guess i have to get some tweeters also. thanks for the replys tho
