Looking good. I think you should trim up that one surface of the mounting board where the top amp's bottom edge meets the wood on each side. Trace the curve of the amp with some cardboard, and transfer it to the wood, and go to work with a jigsaw. I think it would look much better. Details man, details. ;)

I guess we can carpet or what not at the meet, I am going to call a couple upholstery/fabric shops today...

well, it wasnt quite finished for the SSA meet, but atleast i had some bass on the way home

on friday, i find out that i didnt cut one of the holes in the rear deck quite large enough and didnt have time to make it bigger so i still have to do that at some point

i did get the enclosures finished up in Saugus and i drove home with them like this:

wow, that was a good back massage and let me tell you these things sound damn good and get damn loud for 2 sealed 8s without even the gain set properly

how the amp rack looks in the car:

next steps: fix the air leaks in the enclosures, carpet both the amp rack and the enclosures, cut the rear deck circle bigger and mount the enclosures there, and hide the wires coming from the amp rack

From first hand experience.... those 8" behemoths are pretty dang scrumtrilescent.

Ill Mitch never sounded so good...

now i just need to put em in the trunk again and bolt the subs in and then wire em up and they'll be working

then i just need to deaden a bit more and figure out some way to cover the rear deck

Chevy is to cheap to include a real Impala rim in their top of the line sedan

there was actually a lawsuit because we're supposed to get "full size spare" which means exactly the same size as the other tires, and as you can see, its not
