I'm looking into getting a Pioneer In-Dash DVD. I want the AVH-P4100, but do you guys think it's worth the extra $100 or so than the AVH-p3100? Also, what about the p4100 vs. the p4000?

The question is do you think it is worth it? It is your money that you will be spending, just get whichever one is within your budget and has the features that you want and prefer.

The p4100 is a much cleaner piece than the 3100. There is also 3 prevolt outputs instead of 2.

It has a front rear and sub vs a front and rear/sub switchable. The amount of prevolt outputs isnt really that big of a deal.

They both have a 4V prevolt out which is great.

The main difference is the screen. If you think the screen is worth $100 go for it.

I currently have the 3100 installed and I like it. It has the same features as the 4100 except the 4100 has a bigger screen and front rear and sub like lucky stated. The only knock I have with the 3100 is the clock is military time and it can't be changed. Other than that I would just choose whichever one you think fits your needs.
