Posted January 7, 201015 yr I am getting a lot of different noises coming out of my speakers. I have had this problem for a while. I thought it was my pioneer head unit but I guess that proved to be false. I have installed all new grounds and everything is wired correctly. I am getting not only alternator whine but ...noise from when I turn my fans on (ac/heat etc) and the noise increases as I increase the fan speednoise when I turn my signal light on or yield lights on - they noise pulses to the clicks of the signal lightsnoise when I turn my interior lights on and as the lights dim the noise dissipates. The wierd part is, if I turn my car onto accessory the noises are no longer there. These noises only occur when the car is running. It sounds like a factory ground issue but I am not sure. I would like some input from you guys. Thanks!

January 7, 201015 yr Author I am just hoping I don't have to go through all of the vehicle grounds and retighten them to find the problem
January 7, 201015 yr Author Either a bad cable or ground. I'd test the cables first as it is the easiest.I doubt it is the rcas. When I say I replaced everything to get rid of this noise I have. I had the $120 tsunami rcas in there and I had the noise. Then I switched to the Knu Krystals and I still have the noise.
January 7, 201015 yr is this the 2003 Lincoln i see in your sig. funny you say all those problems are you sure there is no radio noise suppressor in a circuit in the autos wiring. i had a problem years ago with a radio noise suppressor in a Plymouth reliant k car because the capacitor went bad. how i found it i needed a wire diagram to find it but check auto zone or buy a Haynes or a Chilton's auto manual for your vehicle with the chassis electrical diagrams. and engine diagrams some time you got them on the ignition system too. this is if you do not find a bad ground.
January 7, 201015 yr sorry you said it is not the h/u? did you swap h/u to make sure of it? sorry if you already answered this. I know i had the SAME issue with my car for 2years straight and i did everyhtin you did to the T and the noise was still there and very annying. i changed rca's grounds i used groud loop isolators i did everything the works and nothing worked. i got all the noise you had when the fan was on when the engine was on when i was speeding and everything.then i purchased a bnib h/u and BAM all gone and never retured (knock on wood) and i didn't change a single thing jsut JUST the h/u. but i don't know about your b/c it sounds 100% like my issue back in the day of my PIONEER H/U!!!

Would this be something a certified lincoln technition would be able to locate and repair if needed? If not, will this manual do if I buy it?LINCOLN AVIATOR 2003-2005 SERVICE REPAIR MANUAL - Download Technical

January 7, 201015 yr have you tried running power and ground directly from your battery to your cd player and tap the turn on wire to your ignition wire?
January 7, 201015 yr Author have you tried running power and ground directly from your battery to your cd player and tap the turn on wire to your ignition wire?I think I tried that on my old radio. I am going to have to give that a try with the new one just in case.
January 7, 201015 yr Author I found a couple of the caps on the ignition coils. They are called the ignition transformer capacitors and have a number 18801.
