I plan on getting 2 12's and SA-12 seems perfect for my budget. I plan on spending about 400 on subs.

Also will an SAE 1200 work well with these?

i would have to say yes since they are like 600rms subs and the 1200's put out a bit more than rated power. but obviously the subs are under rated as well but i think it would be a good match.

all box dependent but the 2 at sundown that are in a prefab sealed box off a 2000d plays 5hz all day long without bottoming out or any kind of failure. if that gives you an idea.

x2 go for it and call it a day, lows will be determined by box size and tuning if going ported. The subs will hit the lows with no problem.

Sundown lists an F3 of 26Hz in their recommended box, i'd say thats plenty low, unless you are trying to hit subsonics at high volume

i had a chance to hear a pair of these at a car show i entered...

i was very suprised! (not sure why i should have known sundown FTW) but 2 of these in a sealed box ran on a 1500D @ 2 ohms and it was slamming.. the lows were so smooth and deep and the responce very nice... had my eyes blurring in a camaro

That would make for a nice setup! They are built like tanks and are very underrated. Look at tuning around 28-30hz!

Damn well I have a legit box, it's 1.8 cuft in each chamber and tuned at 32hz ill be using that and when funds are right I'll order a pound that sound box

I'm selling my amp sub and getting rid of that god awful batt.

I already sold the amp... Waiting for someone to buy the sub. And already plan on getting a C&D batt very soon.

I'm not gonna lie I was sloppy with that build but after hours of research I'm gonna do it right this time.

Not the that the BTL was bad or anything. And the amp was badass. Just looking to switch it up.

Mostly rap/hip hop but I listen to rock and country as well. These woofers are very musical as well correct?
