Hey everyone. I am not sure what the policies are with box designs are here so i thought i would ask. If I asked for a design on the forum and someone does give me one do i pay them or what?? this is just a picture of the box. Like the dimensions of the pieces of wood. I could make the box but i have no clue on how to design a port or tune a box. If this was not clear or difficult to understand than let me know or just delete it , hha

I'm trying to design my box now? Does anyone know if these measurements are pretty accurate? Thanks.

the measurements for the cut sheet are dead on, but the tuning is normally a bit higher than what it says it is.

If you want accuracy do the math yourself

There are a few members who charge for designs then you have some that will help you with a design if you provide the size of the enclosure you want and tuning frequency if you want it ported. You can give the max dimensions of the area you have to work with and that will help to get you started on getting closer to a box design.

I have never used the RE calculator and the design come out correct!!!!

try the JL port length formula.

Was told by a very skilled box builder that website the with the calc. wasnt dead nuts.
