Posted February 16, 201015 yr ok so im looking for a head unit and really want a pioneer p800prs but cant find a used one. i was wondering what you guys think about the soundstream touch screens or the new clarion cz500 or the fz709 .because i can get new clarions cheap
February 16, 201015 yr When it comes to headunits make sure you get one that fits all the features you need, that is what it is really going to come down to. Your going from a Pioneer with all the gadgets to mediocre Clarion units so what are you looking for in a head unit? If you want a head unit to go active with then those wont cut it.
February 16, 201015 yr Author im looking for something nice thats gonna perform very well but not break the bank. something out of the average, maybe w/ some graffix. im not looking for only performance i want something that looks good too. not one that looks like your average everyday alpine or pioneer you feel me? im looking to spend $200-300 and it doesnt necessarily gotta be brand new used is fine too
February 16, 201015 yr Go to Best Buy and look at the headunits there. It should give you a better idea of exactly what you're looking for.

Best bet would be to narrow down what you need and like and search.

Your best bet is to look on sonicelectronix.com, woofersetc.com or onlinecarstereo.com (a few shops and shop for ones you like and will fit your performance needs) then go from there. The way you descrived what you want and how you want it to look will come down to you since you and only you know what you like, just do some research and see which one fits you and your budget.
