April 9, 201015 yr Author checked with Jacob and he said to use loctite 5 min epoxy from lowes. I applied it an hour or so ago, I will let it cure overnight and see what it does tommorow. If it just comes off again I maybe going bigger, Im thinking maybe a Z v2 or a Nightshade v2 either would be in the 10 or 12 inch variety.
April 10, 201015 yr MLV is a sound barrier. CLD only stops your panels from vibration, Ensolite only stops two rubbing surfaces from making noise (or decoupling another layer of something, usually MLV).So if self generated panel noise is your concern CLD is the answer. If you want to make your car quieter then MLV is the answer (or any heavy layer, lead works sweet but is cost prohibitive)If you have two surfaces rubbing then a CCF or Ensolite product will be the answer. So far you've dealt with vibration, if you want to deal with noise you need a layer of mass
April 10, 201015 yr Author thanks m5. That makes alot more sense than anything I have read. I guess I'll be making an order of mlv soon.
