wow, tripple baffle for a 12? how do those terminals work? if they are what they look like to me.. they have a hole you put a wire through and then the top is screwed down over both side of the wire to secure it? (hard to explain) or is is used with ring terminals? lol

Those are them. What you see on the outside of the box unscrews and you are able to just twist it down tight. So basically these things eliminate the weak point (plastic terminals) as most other boxes would have.

What if I go ghetto style and put bolts instead. Would it work as good as these. Just don't look so cool?

Yup they would. I'm not sure what all thread is coated in, so it might not conduct as well as these Dayton ones though.
