Buddy is torn between these setups. Obviously one requires 2k more power. Aside from that, everything else is pretty close.

I think that the ssds wont be much louder for all the extra work - any other opinions?

speakers dont require you to put full power on them. with a statement like that i suggest you follow the posting guildlines and give us more info so we can help you and your buddy out before a mistake is made.

Ahem. Well then. He has 2000 rms right now, flirting with the idea of taken it to 4k. Can fit about 14 cuft of space in the car, maybe 16 but thats pushing it. (walled off) Likes to hit lows so will want to tune to 28ish hz. Has the electrical to backup 4k if need be. Likes the idea of having 4 subs because its different and has a lot of wow effect. Not a lot of setups like that around here. Hmm.. I think he ran some AQ HDC3's before and was impressed with how loud they got but wanted more on the low/sq end of things. Thats why he is thinking about the BL's. Four bl's is outside of his budget, so thats why SSD's would have to work, and theres no Q pricing right now. Q's may be an option for four but they are more of an SQ driver?
