Congratulations, for passing your welding coupon. I'm currenty taking welding in college and have been doing a lot of mig and stick welding lately, next week I will be doing my 3G(vertical up) and 4G(overhead) welds in 1/8" 7018 on 1" thick mild steel for my certification. How long have you been welding for?
