I just found my old x 12s in the garage and wanted to freshen them up a little with a recone for a friend, only thing is I really wanted to get the flat wound coils on the x's so they can handle at least 900 watts rms or close but the x series do not have that option.. Even tho there is no option for the FW coil in the x recone page would i still be able to have them do it? Or maybe use the ssd series recone with a flat wound coil, would that even work?? Is there any recone kit at all i can get to make the x's better?

Better as in:

handle a lil more power,

have more than just a tiny single spider,

integrated tinsel leads(no cushions on the cone for the lead slaps),

and maybe some larger dust caps.

Any help will be appreciated a lot!
