August 18, 200520 yr Author hey btw isaac how thick should they be?? would they work the way i have them now?
August 18, 200520 yr They might, they might not.Personally I like my stuff to be standable, but if you can flex it with your hand, I'd add more.
August 18, 200520 yr so slow jeremy. hurry that bish up!i can stand on my pods. it's a bit overkill. (5 or so layers)
August 18, 200520 yr Author Okay lol yall scared me i added another layer to the left one.anyways i got more work done:I cut and shaped the left kick and added another layer of glass.i also added another layer to the right side to heres both drying rite now:sux i broke like 3 jigsaw blades cutting 1 freakin kick lol man.more to come!
August 18, 200520 yr Author got more done:left:right:i dunno about this cuz my kick is gonna be up against the side of my car.togetherbtw i lobbed the top of the right kick off.
August 18, 200520 yr Author Get a dremel.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>y? they look fine to me, and thats another 60 bucks i havta spend
August 18, 200520 yr it's one of the most useful tools I have for fiberglass, and many other things, well worth $60 IMO
August 18, 200520 yr it's one of the most useful tools I have for fiberglass, and many other things, well worth $60 IMO<{POST_SNAPBACK}>x2, wayyy faster at cutting fb in my experience, wish i had bought it b4 i started my project rather than during. a jigsaw blade gets owned by fb pretty quickly, but if u break a dremel disc, u have like 20 spares and theyre cheap as hell.
August 19, 200520 yr Author alrite yall, finally got hte left baffle up. dont know how long it will stay that way tho
August 19, 200520 yr hot glue works good for proping tp rings like that. instead of wood glue. looks good cant wait to see it done!
August 19, 200520 yr Author its always the hot glue lol thanks mike.one more pic in my car:and its staying there till tomorrow.
August 19, 200520 yr I'd leave it like that and turn it into a nice little trash can! Or like, an ammo holder or somethnig.....
August 19, 200520 yr Author i got a trash can! lolpiece of crap glue aint holding so i mixed a lil batch of resin and appied it to the dowels. hopefully that ill keep it steady.
August 19, 200520 yr hot glue would have been easier... esp with a compressed air can, as I've said before.
August 21, 200520 yr Author aite...just a quick question on the t-shirt covering before i glue it...i think it looks cool with the wrinkles just in that top left corner. you know kinda art-deco loland shut up i know i have flowers on my comforter.
August 21, 200520 yr you can but thats just more work and you're more susceptible to air pockets if u dont fill in the wrinkles well. just keep stretching it till it's straight.
