I have a 15" fi. I got it used. Idk if it's a bl or q. How do I tell?

Check out the mag. the BL will be bigger then the Q. If i remember correctly, the BL is double stacked mag and the Q is single.

Ok cuz when I looked at pix I coulda swore the q and bl had same magnets

is the pole vented at the bottom of the motor?

Hmm I don't remember. I can't do it today cuz it's raining but I will take a look and a pic as soon as I can. I think it's the second pic though

the SSD only has a single magnet and the bl has the double which this has so that's y I figured it was the bl

The single magnet SSD and Q are new, the old ones have two slugs.

ahhhh gotcha well i will take a pic as soon as it stops raining here and see what i can find out...is the only real difference overall between the BL and the Q is that the Q is a little more geared towards SQ and has the same rms and the SSD is 800 rms?

the Q is 1000 rms stock. depending on the options you put on it, it can handle around 1500.
