How about you tell us whether they are Dual 2 ohm subwoofers or Dual 4 ohm subwoofers, you can also go to this site and play with wiring options:

Subwoofer Wiring Diagrams

Well we were trying to figure out if you had the Dual 2 or Dual 4 ohm version in your other thread. I believe we found out you have the Dual 2 ohm version and with that being the case we were telling you that you either had to:

1. Buy two smaller amps that are 1 ohm stable and power your subs that way

2. Buy a 2 ohm stable amp such as a kicker amp

3. Buy a 1 ohm stable amp that has the power at 2 ohm that you want it to put out

The reason it is like this is because with 2 Dual 2 ohm subs you are not able to wire it down to 1 ohm. You can do .5 ohm ( highly unsuggested ) or 2 ohm ( this gives you the three options above). If you have 2 Dual 4 ohm subs then you could wire them down to 1 ohm like you are wanting to do.

Have you bought the amp yet? I believe someone recommended the alpine m2000 in your last thread. 2k rms @ 2 ohms. 1.5k rms @ 4ohms. I would look into that amp.

why don't he get the model number and call kicker ... then we don't have to guess ... :noob:

If you have Dual 2 ohm subs and already bought the Audioque 2200, you bought the wrong amplifier. You got bad advice in your other thread. You could keep it, though, and wire it to a 2 ohm net load and get 1300 watts, aka 650 per sub.

You need either a 2000 @ 2 ohm amplifier or two 1000 @ 1 ohm amps.

To wire the subs for a final 2 ohm load, either wire each sub's voice coils in parallel then the two subs in series, or each sub's coils in series then the two subs in parallel. Diagram here: JL Audio - Car Audio Systems

Dude, did you read one of the replies in this thread?

People already answered what now.

just get you a cheap amp that is .5 ohm stable :)

You definitely dont want to do that, especially if you dont have a good electrical.

Try to trade for some D4 L7s? Otherwise send the amp back if you can get a refund and buy a 2 ohm amplifier.
