:suicide-santa::suicide-santa: im a little confused.... everyone tells me the AP 3000.1 is stable @ 2 ohms, but the AP catalog says one... gimme some real feedback

Look at the picture in the catalog. It shows that it is bridged putting out 3000 watts and it says 2 ohm minimum under it. Then under that it shows it not bridged and 1500 watts going from each side at 1 ohm. It is two 1 ohm stable amps strapped together. So you were being told correctly. This could have stayed in the same post you already have started instead of making a new one.

it is 2ohm stable not 1 ohm! it is a miss type!! trust us it is 2ohm stable

Yes you can wire the subs into a 2 ohm load...

yes you would wire the coils in parallel to 1 ohm per sub and then in series for a total of 2ohms at the amp

It is 2 1500s strapped internally.

The speaker terminals have dual + and - connections.

These are NOT paralleled inside like many new amps are today. They work independently from each other.

The amp is rated as follows-

1500wx2 @1ohm

2000wx1 BRIDGED @4ohm

3000wx1 BRIDGED @2ohm

It depends on the version.

Everyone seems to be out of stock right now though. Know of an expected arrival date? :peepwall:

contact phi on here. He has access to them. See if his distributor still has some in stock.
