im looking at this ebay auction with 4 old alphasonik amps. on the zed website it says that zed built amps for alphasonik in the mid 80s but im not sure these are that old. can anyone help me out?

this old alphasonik ended the other day, i wasnt sure about it either but it was definately older than the above ones.

I'm interested in the smoked plexi info as well...I know where to get 'em!

Zed built 2 series of amps for Alphasonik, not those on the auction.

The first was the A2125 rated at 125w/ch in 1985/1986

The second run was in the late eighties we built a 75w/ch, a125w/ch and a 50w x 4 done in a white chassis. These amps were very good as I designed a rather unique circuit for them. They all doubled their power into 2 ohms and had regulated power supplies. The power amplifiers clipped very softly, like a tube amplifier
