hey guys! i would appreciate some imput from everyone here

k so, right now i got 2 12" MTX Jackhammers with a sony xplod amp.. It pounds pretty hard but i've been doing some research, and im set on getting a FI 15" sub and a Hifonics amp.. But I've got a few questions

- Is that $90 difference that i would be spending for the BL be worth it over the 15" SSD? (BL with Hyper Pole and Flatwind) (SSD with copper coil and BP Power)

- Im looking at just a one sub setup, so do i order Dual 1 or Dual 2 ?

the amp at 1 Ohm puts out 1200RMS and 2 Ohms is 900RMS

would i hear a big difference in the BL over the SSD.

Thnx guys!! Appreciate it

What are your goals? More spl? More sound quality oriented? Do you want to go ported or sealed with the enclosure? etc.

If the budget allows I would recommend the BL! Get the dual 2 ohm wire it parallel to run your amp at 1 ohm!

dual 2ohm for single sub setup dual 1ohm is more for mutiple sub setups. Check it out yourself bro Shows how to wire and options you run the subs in if your going for nice decent bass ssd is the option want some loud cop turning thump bl would be the way to roll down the street in.

im looking at getting a ported box made, and im looking for some heart shaking bass lol

im looking to get the most power for a decent budget..

would the BL hit harder with 1200RMS than the SSD 900 RMS ? or can the SSD handle 1200RMS aswell?

thnx for the help with the dual 2 :) and im liking the cop turner lol, but would i hear a large difference with the same power going into each sub ? is it worth $90 ? or should i use that 90 for a better box and to get tuned

Does having the amp at 1 ohm lower the amp life time? and last thing is i was thinking of spending $40 on the amp instead for 1100 on 2 Ohm. and 1600 on 2 ohm for when i upgrade.. would that be better than getting the BL ?

cant dual 2 only be set up to 1 ohm though? im not sure if want to use 2 ohm or 1 ohm. and does 1 ohm lower the amps life time?

Another sub that is relatively cheap is audioque hdc3. I just bought 2 and they surprised the shit out of me. I don't know how much the BL is nowadays, but the hdc3 is 330 with a aluminum coild and like 260 with copper coil. (15" prices)

Wiring to a 1 ohm load won't lower the life of your amp IF your amp is stable at one ohm and you are sending it clean power. It sounds like the Bl is right up your ally.

yeahh.. looking at eathier the SSD fully loaded with Hifonics 1200 RMS or the BL with 1600 RMS or 1200 (both 1 15")

Can the ssd handle 1200 and can the BL handle 1600 ? Daily with no problems.

running stock electrical with a capacitor.

I heard the FI RMS ratings are underrated and the Hifonics RMS ratings are overrated?

any help we be of great help for me.. wanna make the best choice!!

thnx
