quick ? This is the first sub that I'm planing to purchase that has the option Dual 1 or Dual 2. You know most sub are Dual 2 and Dual 4 . Im planing on getting a BTL 12, only one and wire it down to 1 ohm. I usually get Dual 2 ,

So do I still choose Dual 2? and How do you wire a single Dual 1?

Try looking at the 12Volt site. They have an excellent wiring diagram software. the12volt.com

But yeah, dual 1 ohm can be .5 ohm or 2 ohm. The dual 2 can be 1 ohm or 4 ohm.

No, he said all the options you can wire a dual 2 and dual 1 to.

Dual1=0.5ohm or 2ohm

Dual2= 1ohm or 4 ohm.

Look at the 12volt site like bigrank916 said.

Search for subwoofer wiring.

can a dual 2 also run 2 ohms ? i know it can run 1 ohm

It can run at 2ohm but each coil is powered by a separate amplifier.
