Can someone answer this question for me;

I see that they offer a lot of upgrades, but each one will affect the parameters and driver's behavior. It would be nice if they offered updated parameters and more information on each of these upgrades. Adding mass to the assembly, then adding spiders and changing spider packs, changing coil assemblies, and materials etc, does quite a bit to affect the driver's behavior, from altering moving mass and resonant frequency, causing QES changes, and inductance variances to causing shifts in the CMS curves... All these things really affect the driver's behavior as a whole, the way it will sound, and they even affect the enclosure design, and even the enclosure type if the parameters shift severely. To me, with the lack of information on the site, it just seems gimmicky.

Sorry, but I dont really see the question that your trying to ask...?

Why would you want T/S parameters?

Just use the recommended port area/tuning/airspace they recommend and then change boxes if u wan't it to sound better.

If they would post T/S parameters for all the subs with all the upgrades, then they would have like 10 T/S parameters per sub.

They already have 36 different T/S parameters.

If they would make T/S parameters for every sub with it's own upgrade they would have over 100+ different T/S parameters.

Do you honestly think we're going to post up 4000 different sets of parameters?

Noooooooooooooooooooooo way man. Not happening.

They all work in the same boxes, thats why we say 'stick within these guidelines'

If you are modeling something for a car in a box program you are peeing in the wind anyhow...it's going to net you worthless information and waste your time and not sound anywhere near as good as doing what we say to do.

Speakers are simple beings...stick with what we say.

There's nothing 'gimmicky' about it..it's the ability to order something that is custom built and machined for you..in house..in las vegas.

Im just postin up a question someone had.

:)

If you don't need a funny car or a car that will hang a turn at 90mph...then you don't need it...so why pay for it?

If you just need something to get you back and forth to work then the 'stock' one is fine...if you need something that is more custom tailored to you cutting a 90mph turn and not breaking loose then that can be done as well...but there's no sense in making you pay for that if you do not need it.

Make sense? :)
