    wow. 1) low voltage - attributed to no electrical upgrades (55ah battery? wet cell I presume, you know those kill off brain cells right?) 2) Improperly set gain - This only gets worse as your voltage

    well why don't they make the voicecoils tougher, the kove is 11 years old i'm sure the technology is up for grabs when the company is out of business. also when I do a recone can i buy a better voicec

Ive known I need a new alternator and bigger battery for 3-4 weeks now, but I haven't been able to come up with a 100 bucks for the 180 amp rebuild I found for this car. remember not my car so i'm not going to invest in a new alternator, so a used one should be fine for time being.

If its not your car then why are you putting all this money into it anyways? Work on getting you own car first then you can upgrade "your cars" audio

A friend of mine runs his xcon with 2 sundown saz 1000 strapped : they take ALL the power easily ! For months now...

OK kids, we're starting to repeat ourselves. He knows (hopefully) what he did wrong, and where he needs to go to get a recone.
