i currently have an RL-p15 that i consider my baby, powered by a JL e1800D amp. since i dont full on pound the RL-p i want to get a 12" sub that would handle all the beating of 1000 watts on a daily basis. im thinking of eclipse or alpine at the moment, but im open to any suggestions.

oh yeah, and as much as possible id like to stay under $260

You could probably find a used RE SX 12.

SXs are usually dual 2s right? my amp is only 2 ohm stable..

if you want to try something differnet the new MAG is up to it
