I'm looking into the 8455, but Eclipse has the worst site in the world with little info. I'm wondering if the aux input is direct connection, or do you need an adapter like on Pioneer and Alpine? Also, anyone friends with any dealers that will ship to me? The local dealer here is horrible and I refuse to give them my business. Thanks!

There is an aux input for 3/4" plugs...(I am not too sure the name of them. They are the headphone plugins)

If my memory is correct some also have a RCA aux in...I will check for you tonight, I have to rewire behind mine.

You also could do the aux in from the CD changer input. (like the pioneers and alpines)

I bought mine from cartoys. www.cartoys.com You can buy them online and they ship, You will have to have a certified installer though to get the 3 year warranty, but you knew that.
