is there such technology? i had an idea hmmm... wouldnt it be great to watch digital broadcasted tv in the truck.

so what im basically asking, is there a headunit out there that can pickup digital tv broadcast? give me a link & or reason why they dont exist :puzzled:

bolt a direct tv dish on your mirror of your truck, or hook it up to cable. :drink40:

I'm a cable guy. I can hook just about anything up to digital cable, not saying its going anywhere.

There are lots of solutions for Satellite or OTA broad casts in vehicles. None of them come in head unit form. Its something you add to your existing system.

I saw something on Fox News the other day about a new system that picks up OTA broadcasts from this company that doesn't require you to use a dish. I can't think of the name of it though, I'll do some searching and try and post a link later. From what it said right now it only works in metro areas though.
