Posted May 22, 201015 yr I am very curious, if anybody in this world prefabs a rear console subwoofer enclosure?to give descriptionhttp://media.photobucket.com/image/rear%20center%20console%20sub%20box/ryjay78/100_0246.jpg Edited May 22, 201015 yr by jjcross
May 22, 201015 yr ahh man, please don't do that. It's like an unwritten rule of bass that center consoles with subs are tacky. Also you're killing your seating room and it probably won't perform as well as you think it should.
May 22, 201015 yr Author well yeah it would look slightly tacky yes. but more or less, i have 2 sealed l7s under my backseat of my ext cab silverado. i want morrrrre, so that box stood as an option.
May 22, 201015 yr Author 2 12" 2 ohm L7s on a kicker 1500.1 and its a 99, which inside cab is same as all sliverados up to 05
May 22, 201015 yr extended cab i'm guessing. 2 12s will not fit under 4 door seats. I had to cut my wall with a bedcover to get the output I needed. You could get rid of the back seats. just a suggestion.
May 22, 201015 yr Author yeah that was my original intent when i bought the truck. now i just wish i had some 15s lol
May 22, 201015 yr Blow through maybe, center console is mostly for the looks, eyecandy. Do you have a seat lift kit? Edited May 22, 201015 yr by cheese20323
