should i use 8 gauge wire to wire it down to 1 ohm to amplifier or will it be to thick?? im just worried that the wire will not fit when i connect positive from amplifier to other positive double wire in same opening.

Use 14-12awg. There's no reason for you to be using 8awg for speaker wire.

ok thank you.. also have another question.. where do people with sound systems meet on weekdays or weekends?? in arizona
