Posted May 28, 201015 yr Finally got a client to rep some Ascendant Audio gear around town. It's a 2003 Chevy Tahoe total system overhaul.Should make for an extremely solid setup that is going to wail on the lows and sound good doing it.Kenwood Excelon KDC-X693
May 28, 201015 yr Author 2 Ascendant Audio Havoc 8 TEEEENZ and an AudioQue 2200DI absolutely love the look of the full cone
May 28, 201015 yr Author Dang that's sexy how u like the kenwOod?The X693 is awesome. It is an incredible piece for the price and it's features. You really couldn't ask for a whole lot more from a single din unit.I sold a ton of them when they first came out, even to people who didn't want to add a system, but just wanted something nice.It takes a little bit of time for the average person to get used to and find their way around, but overall it is pretty easy to use.interesting ... Stay tuned. You won't be disappointed Mo Power What kind of box? ~whispers~ subs up/port up ~Whispers~ Box is subs back, port back.Port in the middle with both subs on each side of the port.Tuned to 31 Hz.Only one AQ 2200? Hehe.Ha we'll see about upgrading to more power later. For now, this will be just fine.
May 31, 201015 yr Author Stinger HPM 1/0 all the way to the back.In the doors are Whip Audio 6.5s.They are incredibly loud and clear for an incredible price.Dynamatted the front doors around the speaker and inside the door behind the speaker.I also went ahead and sprayed the grilles Satin Black while I had the doors off to throw a little more black in the mix and it turned out pretty nice for being so simple. Solution solved! I don't have a favorite Sundown dealer in my area, but I may look into one.Depending on what their prices are would depict on who is my favorite, and going on that, the SSA store sure isn't my favorite Sundown dealer.
