Posted June 1, 201015 yr so i just wired down my fi q 15 to 1 ohm.. and it hits every note really hard.. and i mean really hard.. but it doesnt sound to clean.. its in a sealed box 2.3 cf could it be because the ohm is set to low? should i have left it at 4 ohms?
June 1, 201015 yr you wont hear a difference between 1 ohm and 4, there is probably just too much power going to the sub and its unloading or something. turn the gain down

June 1, 201015 yr You shouldn't be able to hear a difference between a 4 ohm and a 1 ohm load. Are you sure your gains are set right?
