Alpine if I had the money, otherwise I like the package of the AVIC.

the Alpine is nice, but I still dig the Pioneer, I could really use that Navi on a daily basis

Every Alpine I have seen has a good aspect ratio. Pioneer always seem a little skewed, like the people are short and fatter than they really are.

I've owned a Clarion (745), and I've also worked a lot with the Alpine and the Pioneer.

Clarion gets my pic! Next is the Alpine b/c it's great. The PIO is nice b/c it has integrated navigation...but the internal gyro...and almost no ability to bypass to watch video OR INPUT GPS while driving sucks balls

Even though i dont prefer alpine i would vote for it.

I dont like the AVIC units from pioneer.
