Posted July 10, 201015 yr So i have the old surround coil and spider out, i just need to finish cleaning up the old glue. I dont have aside grinder though like everyone says to use, is there another alternative? something else i could use my recone kit form PAP should be here sometime next week and i just want to make sure everything is cleaned up and ready to go for when it gets here. July 10, 201015 yr Not sure if those guys know how to setup an xbl^2 coil..or if they even have the right coil for the thing...so results could be less then desired..Regadless you can do the majority of the work with a utility knife..just don't slit your arms.Knock the majority of it off with a screwdriver and a hammer.

July 10, 201015 yr i think people assumed he meant an RE XXX. Not soundstreamThats what I thought, that he meant RE.
July 10, 201015 yr Well he has a Soundstream XXX. So know you guys know. Use something sharp and a bit strong, to clean of the big stuff.Then i use some sandpaper.(don't know if it's the best method, but it get's the job done)
