Posted July 18, 201015 yr i have two fully loaded 18 inch btls dual 1 ohm and one sundown 3500d for now not to sure on the way to wire them... preety much a noob when it comes to wiring subs....my guess is since that i bought dual 1 ohms i will only be able to run them at 2 ohms or .5 ohms if u guys could let me know if this is correct and maybe throw a picture up on how i should wire them that would be great thanks guys
July 18, 201015 yr No..Dual 1's wire to 1ohm, or 4ohms.Which is fine for a 1ohm amplifier...if you are planning on running an amp per sub later you are going to run into wiring issues..unless you pickup an amp that is designed to do power at 2ohms.

July 18, 201015 yr Connect 1+ and 1- on each sub together then run 1+ from eah sub out and 1- from each sub out
July 18, 201015 yr like this but you're numbers will be differentreplace all the 2 with 1 but wire it just as picture shows Edited July 18, 201015 yr by john denver
July 18, 201015 yr Author like this but you're numbers will be differentreplace all the 2 with 1 but wire it just as picture shows the sundown amp has 2 pos outputs and two neg ouputs so instead of wiring the subs together and only having one set of wires to the amp i should run them seperate and have two sets going to the amp for a 1 ohm load right???
July 18, 201015 yr Author Yes, wire each sub to 2ohm and let the amp take you to 1ohm.thanks for all the help guys first time wiring some quality products want to make sure i get it right thanks again
