Posted July 21, 201015 yr Ok so I have finaly decided to start my home audio setup and I wanted to designing the sub. My plans are to use a ssa DCON 12 in a downfiring box tuned to 25 hz with the port facing forward.I realy want to get a second opinion on this design. The dementions will be 17.5x17.5x17.5, simple enough,it will be constructed out of 3/4 mdf and the internal volume will be roughly 2.23 cuft after sub displacement. Il try to add pics of a cad modle I made of it asap, but as of now, I just want to get a second opinion. Will this work?, or should I go at this a different way
July 21, 201015 yr Is this for home theater or home audio? Tune it higher for home audio. You don't need it that low.
