I am buying this box and want to know which Fi sub will sound best in this encolsure. I want the best output/best sound combo for 1 12" or 10" I have about 300 watts of clean old school AB power that I will be pushing it with. Here is the link to the enclosure.

I say forget that box and build your own. Using a prefab with any fi sub is just asking for trouble. As for the sub, based on your amp, I'd say the fi x or maby the ssd

I keep hearing this about a prefab box, but even if I built one it would not be any different. There is no room back there and I need the seat.

The shape wouldent be diferent, it's about the quality of how it's built. Almost all prefabs arenot made well at all. Heck, some don't even use mdf. I got a prefab for a 12 a year or two back and had 200 watts on the sub and the side broke loose after a week.

This one is made of 3/4" MDF. Looks like it is built well enough and its cheap. So if it is made well, which sub would sound best in it?

You can't base quality on how somthing looks. The box I got, but faild looked well built, but it wasn't. An I can't tell you how it will sound, it's all install dependent. it's up to you what you want to do, I would just not trust a prefab box like that. There are always places like argent audio that Build nice boxes. They make great stuff as I have seen.

I emailed Argent to see if they could make me something custom. It seems everyone around where I live quit doing custom work and unless I want to spend a lot of time designing, which I don't have, I may end up with a pre-fab. Hopefully Argent says they can.

a X would work fine..you've only got a little bit of power :)

I think its funny that back in the day I ran a Lanzar Plus 100 to two Soundstream Reference SS10's and killed it with SPL and SQ. Cheater amps were great. If I really need more power than my Lanzar 240 I can always pull out my super old Lanzar 600. I think it was made in 1986 or so. 0.015% distortion at 4 ohms. Pure sound.
