would it be a good deal to buy a re mx 18 that has one bad coil for 100 cash. ive got a quote on a recone of 182 but shipping will be another 60 there and back. what do you all think

might want to check out PSI and see if they can recone. They do good work and it will be cheaper than RE

Ill post pics of it tomorrow im testing it and im not sure if its blown or not i metered it and both coils read 2.1 and 2.2 its a dual 2 so im thinkin the coils are fine. i hooked it up free air and it makes a popping noise at a higher volume. is it blown or what i looked at both coils cone coil itzs self pushed in on it pushed out on it it doesnt seem blown but its making a noise someone please help me out.. ive never heard this sound

nothing at all thats why im clueless... ive looked online and heared of something behind cone moving or mayber the cone rubbing to make the popping noise i haer. should i recone or take it apart and see whats up any help
