I am in the process of buying a new sub set up.

I am looking at purchasing 1 12ssd fully loaded at dual 2.

the amp i've been looking at has been the Hifonics BRZ1200.1D

Im not looking for used amps :/ My last 2 systems have been used, wanna go new for a change.

I don't want to argue with your choice going with a new amp, but I see no reason not to buy an used amp. It is not a car with millage on it. And you are buying from a well known company with great Customers Service with hundreds of thousand happy customers (too much compliments? ). And from what I've seen and heard saz1500D are tanks. You take care of if with good electrical and it will give you clean power with no problem for years.

You are telling him to get a 1200-1500 watts rms amp for a single ssd ?

A smaller amp would be cheaper and would match the rms ratings of the sub.

Saz 1000 for example (woofersetc has them all?), or...any 800 watts amp.

He's on a small budget.

i have a bxi1200d (the model b4 the one your looking at) and i have zero problems with it. it isn't the nicest amp out there but personally i think it's one of the best in its price range.

if i were you though i'd just get a AQ1200d like said above or a refurbished sundown from db-r.com
