whats up guys and gals....i am installing 2 18" fully loaded btls being pushed by 2 us amps md-3d rated at 2000 dont think power rating for the question matters but oh well..anyway the question i have is how to run the subs on the amps so i can use 1 bass knob from 1 amp and not have to run both...the amps are multilinkable amps just not for sure how to wire...help out thanks alot

1) You can strapp(link) your 2 amps, and just set the gains on the master amp. You will have to use only one remote. But be careful with the final ohm load on the amps. !

2) you can wire each sub on its own amp, and use the 2 remotes with a simple (phone) connector : this will let you have only one knob (this kind of connectors can be found easily in any electric supply shop.) It's simple and cheap.

A friend of mine uses the 2nd solution, but he found that he had to cut/shorten the remote wire because of a loss in output (?!) I can't understand why, but he is happy with the result !

Good luck !

Read your owner's manual on the amps for how to link/strap them.

x2 or search and look at the millions of threads on the internet about it as well.
