ok so today i was on my way home and my sub just quit working.

i checked the ohms for the coils and its 1.25 . i checked the wire running from the box (there wired to one ohm).

So i thought that it was ok. so i then checked the voltage of the speaker wiring coming from the amp and the volts were jumping up and down.

so i then hooked up a ten and it played fine.

So my question is what is wrong thanks for the help.

my amp is sundown audio 2000d

my sub is fi btl12

MY HEADUNIT IS pioneer avic n4
