Hey everyone. I have two 10" type R's in a ported box being pushed by a sundown saz-1000d.

i wanted to do some experimenting by inverting my subs to see if more air space would give me better/bigger sound.

only problem is one of them would be hanging right over my saz-1000d. would the magnet on the type r interfere with my amp?

I'd hate to lose it to a dumb experiment. I hope i can get an educated answer, but if everyone is uncertain ill just keep away. thankyou much!

There will be no problem running the motor and amplifier next to each other :)

Because there is no magnetism involved in an amplifier.

Wherever there is electricity and metals, there is magnetism, namely EM, but you are right, no issues.

OP, what made you think there would be a problem? BTW, don't bother with inverting. It won't provide enough space to matter, and you may just have worse sound due to motor noise.

X2.... unlike a computer there's nothing inside an amplifier that is affected by magnetism...
