hi first off im new.

I am going to get a 15" xcon with the khaotik ported enclosure and i still have stock speakers.

I am looking for speakers that will sound good with this sub.

Im going to upgrade to a 260 amp alternator, new wiring to the speakers.

Its going in a 2008 Trailblazer LT with bose and onstar

Look to use the Stetsom TH 4080 Amp with them

Any help would be appreciated :)

front are oversized 6.5s

Rears are 5.25

3.849 front depth

2.48 rears depth

I like where you are going with this. :drink40:

I second Duran's suggestion. Good price on those right now.

Dont worry about the rear. Just get a nice set for the front.

ya i feel ya the fuck the people in the back right. :P i need to to the all the way around. i went to a local shop that does car audio stuff and they told me alpine type r components up front and coax's in the back with a nice 4 channel amp will over power a XCON with the SAX 1200D.

This true? i mean itd be a shame to have to get 2 xcons ;)

More like the xcons will drown the alpines. I'd get the bravox :)

But if you want to truly appreciate your front stage you'll have to turn down the bass knob a little :P

I REFUSE :D

i always have people in my car and main complaint is they cant hear the music all they hear are the woofers and the bose system is shit.

what about for the rears?

Forget the rear speakers. Get the nicest Bravox set you can for front on a good amp, and that's it!!

Their price is really good on the ssa store. If you can power them from the Boss(zED) amp they're selling, you'd have a killer system. The Sundown 2 ch is badass too !!!

If it's setup properly, the people in the back will be able to hear just fine. You can get rears, it will much up your sound stage but if you aren't worried about it go for it :)

Bravox should have both sizes you need, 6.5" and 5.25".

Dont know but I would bet money you could fit another set of 6.5's in the rear. Cut a baffle out of MDF and attach it to your door then mount the 6.5's.

Get out your tape measure and double check.

Ill sell you my boston pro 50s and a alpine pdx 2.150 for $300. they r a perfect match and sound really good. the will also cut through nicely in your set up.

I like where this setup is going.

+1 for the Bravox. Think about it, there IS a reason why SSA is offering them.
