January 9, 201114 yr Author Very nice man! Box turned out great! Deadening looked like alot of work but well worth it.Thanks! the deadener was a little task but removing the fatmat was twice as hard. im very happy with SDS. the box fits so good, once i wrap it it should blend in nicely with the back of the truck.
January 9, 201114 yr Looks like it turned out real good. I figure that now that you've gotten and used the router with the circle jigs and other bits that you wonder how you ever built boxes without before, lol. It's been a long time coming and I'm REALLY glad it turned out so well. Gotta get with ya sometime and get all the skinny details on how it's sounding. Can't wait to see it completely finished, it fits the truck so well!!

January 26, 201114 yr Author Well i got my new 4 sa-8s today from jacob and having all these drivers sitting here kindas make me want to try something a little stupid. i have 4 saz3ks sitting at the house....i wouldnt.
January 26, 201114 yr if you dont. LOLmaybe 8 sa-8s on 6k. thats do-able That would be very sexy big guy!
January 26, 201114 yr Author i could do 4 under the seat on 3k and 4 on top of the seat on another 3k. just couldnt keep it like that often. plus i still need to recone my old 8s again
January 27, 201114 yr WOW, that would be wild, and not horribly difficult. The box for the extra 4 could be designed around being removable with the amp staying attached to it. You could use connectors like THESE to make/break the power and ground connections, though it would probably be best to use a whole set of connectors for each wire considering the 175A rating, that way you'd have 350A capacity through them, but it's DEFINITELY do-able!! :morepower1:
