Look inside the vent holes you see here:

You will see writing above the voice coil in a sharpie, it will say on there. That's the former.

It is a Q. An older Q with a BP (seeing the machined compression plug in the pole vent) and cooling channels in the top plate. Hard to tell if its D1 or D2 as those coils were both round wire.

Former is what the voice coil is wound on. See the wire winding? Look right above it on the cream colored material and there should be writing on it with Sharpie. Should say Q15D1or2 BP

It is a newer old version due to integrated leads.

right on, ill have to go look again for the sharpie writing. its a D1, that was an easy thing to check. Appreciate you clearing that up Scott. Thanks to all you guys also

It is a replacement from one that had a cracked magnet since we no longer use those diameter magnets any longer..so he got a black motor instead.
