What is the lowest ohm the sundown SAZ-2500d can drop down to and still be stable?

It's warrantied to 1 ohm, but can drop much lower pending it has an electrical system to back it up.

Dumb question but I'm pretty sure the answer is simple..

How do they know you've dropped an amp under 1 ohm?

Teach me somethingg!

If your nominal impedance is 1 ohm, you have D2 coils and wire down to 1 ohm, there ya go.

That's easy stuff.

I meant.

How does Sundown or any audio company know when you've dropped the amp under 1 ohm.

Parallel and series wiring is all easy

Well, when you drop something down each impedance the output voltages raise on the mosfets ( I believe) they only handle a certaint amount, when you drop it lower they can only take so much.. So they blow.. And it's a easy thing to see

But say you run it at .5ohms or something low and it doesn't blow or nothing overheats, then what?

I just want to know cause I'm running a dual 1 Q at 2 ohms and I don't want to drop it at .5..

Then your fine, it really decreases the life of the amplifier though
