right now the wife drives a 01 accord coupe with a single RE REX12D4 off around 200 watts from a RF 300.1 in a 1.5ft^3 box tuned to 35Hz front firing right behind the back seat.

would it hit the lows alot better or have more output if I were to replace it with a SRX15D4 in an infinite baffle setup off the same amp? I know Id probably end up lowering the gain seeing as that SRX might not even handle 200 watts in an IB setup.

and another idea, what about just using the REX12 in an IB setup since its already in my possession?

probably being a bit impatient but did I put this in the wrong section or something?

Why are these your only options? Why not add another 12 and a bigger amp?

I asked if it would have more output, OR if it would hit the lows alot better?

and not another sub and bigger amp because Id then need to buy larger power/ground wire, reroute it all. alot more time and money then just a baffle and new sub... its the wifes car, I drive it sometimes and ride in it sometimes so I would appreciate more bass in there, but... its the wifes car! so I am not gonna put too much more time/money into right now.
