Posted November 2, 201014 yr My next build will consist of two 12bl's fully loaded and an AQ2200d. The box will be ported and built to specs. Now the only problem im going facing is that when running 2200WRMS, do you have to upgrade your alternator? or will you be fine with the xs 3100d? I will only play my system 3/4 of the way up for about 10min every day. Big 3 upgrade is already done.

What were your previous setups?
November 2, 201014 yr Author well now i have just one bl12 and a sundown sae 1200d. My stock alternator is 90 amps. My voltage droped from 14volts to 12. When i did the big 3 it stayed at 13volts, and yes the 3100d will be my starting battery
November 3, 201014 yr I would throw an extra battery in the back and go from there.I agree on the second bat.-- then see were your voltage goes.
November 3, 201014 yr Author the thing that is really confusing is that Nick told me the new btls the 15 will be similar to 2bl's becuase the excursion on that btl is 28mm? Is that true? I honestly do not no what to get now.
November 4, 201014 yr The one BTL would be cheaper than the 2 BL's. But cone area is different !!!I'd get a new btl n2. But it's me !good luck !Try the second batt, must not be a bad thing.
November 5, 201014 yr Just get another bl 12 since you have one. the BLs will be louder due to the cone area on the 2 is more than 1 15.

November 5, 201014 yr If you want an saz-2500d then get it soon. It's on pre-order pricing for 525$ in the SSA store. Can't get better than that for that amp.
November 5, 201014 yr Author Im kind of on a budget now. My dad is going to KILLL me. I have to get another bl 12 thats $330 including shipping, and that 2500d is $525.. Man o Man.. Thats a total of $855 which isent that bad, but i still have to buy that xs d3100.. Should i wait on the battery?
November 5, 201014 yr Bad electrical will cause blown equipment if your not careful. Gain conservative. and if you have to, wire it at a higher ohm load until you have sufficient electrical.
