December 4, 201014 yr Jon, I can't really tell what dimension goes with what, but to simplify separate it into two boxes. Then just do X*Y*Z/1728 = cuft. Add the two together and you are set. Make sure to subtract the dimensions of whatever material you are using and then realize you will still need port room, but that should give you the right idea.
December 5, 201014 yr 8.6849 + 3.63759 = 12.32249 with .75 MDF kinda guessing what you meant.use this to calculate your ft^3 http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp#wed
December 5, 201014 yr 2-15s (353.25 cone area) 3-12s (339.12 cone area) 4-12s (452.16 cone area) so if you had the room for any of the listed the cone area of 4-12s would be the most. Like m5 said its going to matter most on calculating what your going to need/want/use for port area obviously doing 2-15s 100% right vs trying to cram 4-12s in there with limited port (basically cutting corners) is going to be the best idea. Doing something Half A$$ will more then likely never give the results your after. Edited December 5, 201014 yr by jmanjr
December 5, 201014 yr Author thanks, guys.. im still in the dark i know i know. i was thinking the same lines as far as not to cram it in.. thats why i was thinking 3 12's aswell. i may just have to build it and see what happends.
December 6, 201014 yr If the choice was 3-12s done right or 2-15s done right I dont think there will be much audible difference. Best of luck though
