I got my new woofers today. They are two Black Fiday 12's. I went to a shop nearby and had them build me a sealed box. It is one cubic foot per woofer, and its separate chambers. Problem is I didnt think about the wiring when I had them build it. So there is terminals on each side of the box for each woofer, and since its separate chambers it makes wiring difficult. So how would i wire the woofers in a series down to 1ohm having to use the two terminals. :puzzled:

Impedance of woofers?

Edit: I'm assuming they are dual 4's.

Just do this: connect the positive terminals of a sub together. Do the same for the negative. Then go to the box terminal. Do this for both subs. Then just connect the positive from each box terminal together and go to the amp. Connect the negative from each box terminal together and go to the amp. Done.

Or you could just drill a small hole in the divider to wire the subwoofers together inside the enclosure, then just have a single run of wire to the amplifier. Saves having to stuff multiple wires into the terminal cups.

Or if your amplifier has dual outputs as some mono amps do, you could just wire the subwoofers individually to the amplifier.

thats how i wired it with the amp positive to the first terminal and the amp negative to the second terminal i guess you cant wire the negative from the first sub only the second sub my only question is how safe is it lol
